Generally, no. Meal plans have their place and purpose; but, for most people they're not worth their time or money. For someone to be successful with adhering to a meal plan, they would already have to master the basics: meal prepping/preparation, consistency, hunger/fullness awareness, portion counting/control, etc. These are skills that most people struggle with. It's like telling someone who has trouble walking a mile to run a 5k. If we reach a junction in our coach-client relationship, where a meal plan seems beneficial, I will create one (if desired & needed), but **only** if the basics have been mastered with at least 80% consistency.

Nutrition coaching isn't a quick diet service. It’s a behavioral service designed to help you reach your fitness/health goals and **ALSO** designed to improve your mindset and relationship with food. Those type of changes take work and time. The role of a typical diet is to simply get you to your physique goal. The role of nutrition coaching is to get you to your physique, health, performance goal, and to create sustainable behavior change.
General Training Questions
-
This date is different for everyone, but generally 2-3 months. You’ll notice positive change in your endurance and/or energy within the first several weeks of consistent training.
-
The answer to this depends on your goals and health history. However, I generally recommend a** minimum** of 3 days a week to all my clients.
-
No. I understand that this is a common concern for many women. Years ago, I believed the same thing, but we simply don’t have the hormones or physical makeup necessary to get big like our male counterparts. If your goals are to "enhance your physique", "tone", or "build curves," then lifting substantial weight is the most effective way to do it. If you’re still concerned or unsure, please contact me and we can talk about it further.
-
If you're able-bodied and you're training with me, then yes. Training both your upper body and lower body consistently has several benefits. It makes your body more balanced, helps your waist appear smaller, and will help you lift more efficiently. My goal as a coach is to make you well-rounded, while still focusing on achieving your physique goals.
